Wild Oats or Sessile Bellwort
Uvularia sessilifolia
Wild Oats or Sessile Bellwort is a member of the Lily Family (Liliaceae) and blooms in the spring from April to June.

The creamy-yellow flowers droop from the top of a 6 to 12 inch stalk and the leaves are between 2 and 3 inches long and are without stalks. This particular plant was found in deep woods in early April. The range of the flower is from Southern Canada south to Missouri and East to Georgia.
