The Hummingbird Moth is found in North America from Southern Canada to the Gulf Coast, and from the Mississippi Valley to the Atlantic Coast.

The Hummingbird Moth feeds at flowers during the day, and looks very much like a tiny hummingbird with his wings constant fluttering and he never lights for very long. His coloring changes with the seasons.
