The Rose-Breasted Grosbeak is common in Northern deciduous woods. It can also be found in suburban areas and old orchards. This bird is about 7 1/4" long and is easily recognized by the rose bib of the adult male.

The Rose-Breasted Grosbeak is found in the summer in the Northern United States from the east coast to just west of the Mississippi River
