The Cowbird is related to the Red-winged Blackbird and to Crakles. The Bird is found usually around farm animals and feed on the insects the animals stir up. The female Cowbird lays her eggs in the nests of other, usually smaller birds, and leaves them to be cared for by other species. If the eggs are not disposed of the the host bird. The young cowbird will demand all the food and the other young will starve.
The Cowbird is common through out all North America.
